Has anyone had a close look at the main picture on Apple's preview page? The sender of the email in the top pane is 'Katie Lorenzo' but in the preview pane her name is 'Amy Lorenzo'. Also, the delivery time is out by almost an hour.

Nah, it's probably just a mistake on apple's part (after all, i don't think this website has been officially released yet since we can't find links to it). I say that it is not photoshopped because i'm currently logged into .mac through the cited webpage. So yeah, it's real, otherwise i wouldn't be logged into .mac at the top.

Is there space for a 12.7mm hard drive inside the 2010 unibody mac mini? Bought a 1.83 mini and would only take a 9.5mm HDD. I need to know if there is space for the larger drive.

Is there a way to check how many of each iPhone version are currently activated?
I'm assuming there is still a large number of 3GS users out there and it just seems crazy that AT&T and to a lesser extent, carriers around the world, would allow millions? of users to go off contract without something new and pretty to keep them locked down.
But of course app purchases, accessories, and time spent with iOS will be enough to keep many loyal even with what Android can offer, even if they have to wait a few extra months.
I predict that if we don't see the iPhone 5 released in June/July, that there will at least be something mentioned about it at WWDC. Maybe even the normal Job's presentation, but "won't be available until" will be plastered on the screen.
Just something to keep those waiting to either say, that isn't enough to hold out for and to get an iPhone 4 or for others to hold out and keep feeding the app market in the mean time.
Either way Apple wins.

Thanks, Huntn. Good post. Here are my thoughts on your ideas:
There is a long term move to dismantle government social programs and who needs the truth when we can lie? You know we can't afford you social program and your school because we have these billion, thats B-I-L-L-I-O-N dollar bombers that need building.
This is all very simplistic, but here goes:
1. Reform Health care- one illness from bankruptcy is not acceptable for a developed country. Health care should have never been turned into a profit machine along the same lines that you don't want your police and firemen as for-profit enterprises. The larger the pool the smaller the costs.

Providing health services and goods has always been a for-profit enterprise. This is exactly what has lead to the amazing growth in medical technology in the past 100 years.
2. Cut programs before lowering taxes especially on the rich- you can't balance a budget if you have no income. If you must lower taxes, you must first cut the programs and deal with the popular unrest before cutting any taxes. This is exactly what the champion of the Republican Party did not do- Reagan, he cut taxes but not programs and this country ran the first substantial deficits since WWII.
I tend to agree. Cut programs until our expenses match our current 'revenues.' When the two are equal or are in the black, let's immediately pass an balanged-budget amendment so this problem never happens again.
3. Progressive Tax policies are a must- The rich are rich. Make them pay their fair share. They can afford it. Cutting their taxes to create jobs is mostly a conservative smoke screen to **** over average citizens.
For the record, they are paying their fair share. The top 50% of wage earners pay over 95% of the income tax. Your disgusting attack on all conservatives wanting to '****' over all citizens is just that... disgusting.
4. Stop allowing the Exportation of Jobs- If you want to keep a standard of living. Lowering the standard of living reduces income and tax revenues.
How? Trade embargo's? Certainly you understand that increasing taxation on the wealthy and corporations certainly won't help.
5. Enact policies that support a strong Middle Class- instead of wiping it out for the sake of the rich. A strong middle class powers the economy.
Lower taxes? Strong business climate with low unemployment? You seem to be contradicting yourself... what strong middle class policies are you specifically talking about?
6. Search High and Low for Corruption- No system will work if it's corrupt. Submitting thousands of fradulent Medicare claims is hurting us.
I agree. I would start with a MASSIVE simplification of the tax code, and virtual elimination of all government subsidies over the next 5-10 years.

You may not have been but I was perfectly able to make adult decisions about my life before I was 18years old.
At 18 the law recognised that I should be capable of behaving like an adult. It is the job of parents (and society) to make sure that there children are ready to be adults by 18years, which means they should've been preparing them for these sort of decisions for years. A parent shouldn't treat a son like a child until they're 18years and then from their 18th birthday treat them as an adult.
Except if you want to have a drink!

As an early teen I was in the room next to mine and had to endure a night of their role-playing passion. (They�re normally quite straight laced).
Then a couple of years later when I was maybe 16/17years old I walked in on them at around 11pm in the living room. Mum sat in the arm-chair with a leg over each arm and Dad kneeling going down on her.

Embarrassed? Yes, all of us. Disgusted? No, couldn�t see a reason to be. Ever sat in that chair again? No ***king way! Eww.
I am still thinking that I was found under a cabbage leaf here. :D

Hi,
I�ve read a lot about capturing dv avi from tape with iMovie will suck.
I already captured these files a while ago before I got my mbp.
If I load them onto the mbp and use them in iMovie and export to DVD, will it still suck?

Whenever i use any program, say Word and wanting to either open/save/brown a file, it opens a Finder window for me to look for the file on my computer, and everytime this Finder pops up, it freezes slight for about 10 seconds when i am unable to scroll or click anything, then it works.
What is causing this? seems like its taking time to load something?
This is a small problem thats not really a big deal, but it does get annoying.
