Me neither. I HATE the mock-up.

How long after you make a purchase does the App Store remember your password so you don't have to enter it again? I presume that's what happened in this case.
It depends on your setting. Even logged in, it typically confirms once by asking if you want to purchase that app.
It was cool of Apple to arrange a refund. That should be standard policy, especially if an app isn't even completely downloaded.
For 99-cent apps, I'm less concerned about "try before buying"... when they start costing $10 and up, I think there has to be a way to 'preview' them...
Tough to figure out how, though!

It's a shame that Apple isn't at least back-porting security fixes for 3G users. No new features, just security fixes. (although that new version of WebKit would probably give them a nice speed-boost, too!)
There are still plenty of iPhone 3G users under warranty.
That is exactly what I meant. I'm also out of the group of people who got the 8GB iPhone. But knowing the "App Store experience" staying at iOS 3.2 for a while longer, it gets tedious quickly. Devs update their Apps, and you can't go with them. If I had the 8GB iPhone since 2010 I'd be pretty annoyed with that.

Creative positioning + bed with a good bit of "give", e.g. Memory Foam = enjoyment without that "crushing" feeling.
Nothing should have to remember such an experience. Not even a mattress.

Okay, they fixed the Portal, so I was able to download it, a 79.4MB file, lets see how this runs compared to parallels.
Post screenshots if you can! :)
Is this for Intel Macs only or will it work on PPC too?
Intel Macs only. I'm pretty confident that anything involved with running Windows on a PPC Mac is dead by now

Iv'e had both good and bad luck with Hitachi, Seagate and WD. Currently installing the Seagate Momentus XT 500GB drive :D So far it's silent! All my Hitachi's have been clicking. Although last year I purchased a Seagate drive and it clicked very badly so..

way to go prioritizing cartoony graphics to chew up my valuable screen real estate instead of giving me something useful like a to-do list.
Oh Apple Mail has a To Do list. And Notes. But the Calendar is a separate app, as is the Address Book. So why not also have a separate To Do and Notes application? Oh, because they're stored as special formatted email messages in Mail.app, that's why. So how about integrating Calendar and Address Book better in Mail. It's a mess.

If you look at other photos it looks exactly the same.
That photo has a weird angle to it. You can see the other side of the white iphone.
Someone from "a" news service is bending a no story into "A Story." ;):D

The Gobi chip in the verizon iphone 4 supports it. If they use that for a universal iphone 5, the question is whether apple/at&t enables it.
Wondering why they don't if the hardware is there and the network supports it already.

Up to the point, RacerX...I am tired of these "security warnings" that carry little more than vaporware and a thirst for publicity and hacker-like "fame"...
If a kernel panic is a "serious issue", think again...and go Vista...and please, no market share arguments anymore...we have probably more than 50 million Apple users out there...I am sure a few hackers are still trying hard to make a virus in the wild for them.

Don't know if this has been posted elsewhere, but Apple's pc share has grown to 6.1% in the US; we trail by 0.3 percentage points for third place.
10% is in sight. Perhaps by the end of 2007!

Dropped calls is a feature of the iphone... enjoy ;)
I live in toronto, canada, and here the service is great. We've had MMS since day 1 as well as tethering. Its all lightning fast. Basically no dropped calls and issues like that, but we do pay a small premium.

I just want to know the price
I"m sure these can be built but can the average teen afford one?
Consider the current ipod is $400. This is looking like it could be quite expensive. I just don't see it selling for less than half a grand

a module for layout and one for word processing??? Please no!!!! To me that sounds more complex. If i want to type a document I just open a blank template. What is so difficult about that?
As far as i can tell Pages only lacks a few features to be a "fully fledged" word processor, such as;
Grammer checker (dubious value in my opinion)
indexing
Better mathematical notation input
Table of Contents is not bad but could have some additional features.
better cross referencing
Personally I dont mind the inspector.
I write specifications and pages is fine for that. I can see for academic works Pages may be a bit lacking
