It might be possible to fool me when it comes to a transvestite, but it is hard to hide big hands, an adams apple, and wide shoulders, among other things.
I have none of those things, never have, a large portion of transsexuals don't either.
I think you have things somewhat confused, transvestites are typically the ones with big hands, wide shoulders, adams apples etc as they don't take female hormones and typically never have surgery, they simply crossdress.
You seem more than anything just plain misinformed, like you have some exaggerated idea of what being transgender actually means. Put simply you only notice the transgender people you notice, so to your eye you may casually cast us all as obvious. I used to think similarly myself, it came as a great surprise to me that transgender people for the most part live fairly normal mundane lives.

I'm about to get my card out and spend spend spend!!! I was going to get the 17" due to the fw800, DL superdrive and screen space of course. Now I wonder, the 15" is attractive being that bit smaller. Anyone got any comments on either? Still like the screen on the 17" but I'm thinking 15" would be a bit more portable.
15" all the way - unless you really need those extra inches, the 15" is a real sweet spot IMO. the money you save, you can always use to bump up other specs.

Iv'e had both good and bad luck with Hitachi, Seagate and WD. Currently installing the Seagate Momentus XT 500GB drive :D So far it's silent! All my Hitachi's have been clicking. Although last year I purchased a Seagate drive and it clicked very badly so..

It's only ****ing capitalism when Apple does something and has the audacity to charge for it. When any other company does it, it's just good business.
People will complain about anything.
I take it with a grain of salt, there's not that many people that are truly Anti-Apple, and those are the ones I don't care about anyway.
Bottom line, I get to enjoy lots of Apple gear, AND benefit as my stock skyrockets.
Now that, is the "Magic" of great Apple Hype, Marketing, and Influence.
Mikey's parents will buy him anything...ha..ha...ha...:D

I get similar performance on my slighly slower iMac.... And my VM images are on a less than ideal external FW drive!!! I'll second the opinion that if your system is significatly slower than this with Parallels, there's something VERY wrong with your Mac...
Do you have any certain settings set? Because I have a 2.16 MBP with 2GB of memory and it takes like 40 seconds to suspend and resume. I'm not getting anywhere near the few seconds you guys are talking about.

Don't have any use for Expose, but I use Spotlight quite a bit.
I think Panther was hit or miss for those first few weeks. Some people had major problems, I didn't.
Panther was fine for me; if I'd stuck with that version, then I probably would have been OK.
OS X "Kernel Panics" are transparent :)

Brea had a good number of Verizon models and a few WiFi, but no AT&T. GSM models are obviously being saved for the international launch.
How many wifi models did they have? Particularly 32GB. My friend got out of line, wondering if he would have gotten one.

Did anyone catch the Chuck Lorre Productions "vanity card" at the very end of this week's episode? I usually don't pay attention to the show, but I do watch Mike & Molly right afterward. I briefly saw Charlie Sheen's name on it, and had my wife rewind and pause it on the DVR.
In it, Chuck Lorre did a little joke at the whole situation, something along the lines of "I don't drink or smoke, I eat right, I exercise....", and at the very end, "If Charlie Sheen outlives me, I'm going to be really pissed."
Quite possibly the first time I ROFL'd at that show.

the buttons on the spotlight window or nothing like the buttons on the preview window for example..and i wonder why.
not that tiger is that consistent...
